The Triple Cone Challenge

This is the best one day alpine adventure in all New Zealand!!!!!! You will have has some prior experience in rockclimbing or mountaineering. Good fitness is necessary and a firm desire to stand on three peaks in one day! There are some technical difficulties to surmount.

The three peaks stand at over 2300 metres above sea level. The access to these little giants is via a sound mountain highway to 1600 metres.

The Remarkables Range overlooks Queenstown and the Wakatipu Basin. From the summits of these local giants you can see Mts. Cook, Aspiring, Earnslaw, and Tutuko on the distant horizon. The photo opportunities are splendid.

All transport/equipment/footwear is supplied and if you need extra alpine clothing please ask.

Your guide is well qualified to to deal with the responsibility of “the Challenge”.All guides are trained by accepted outdoor industry training organisations e.g. NZMGA or NZOIA. They also receive regular training from IMG.

You will need to supply your lunch, snacks and a healthy drink. Bring your camera.

Bookings are essential and will only be accepted with a $100 deposit.
